CHURCH PLANTING

A MESSAGE FROM
BISHOP MANNY CARLOS

Victory Chairman

Jesus declared in Matthew 16:18-20, “. . . on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom . . .”

Jesus Christ established the church as His primary means of accomplishing His mission on earth–to reconcile lost humanity to God through His sacrificial death and resurrection, and inaugurate His kingdom on earth as it is in heaven. The church is not a building or institution, but a redeemed community called to be His loving representatives and commissioned to proclaim the gospel and demonstrate the reality of His kingdom. The end goal of planting a church is to prepare a people who will honor God with their lives and extend His kingdom by commissioning them to make disciples of all nations.

Victory is committed to planting churches in every major city in the Philippines. Victory in Metro Manila is one church that meets in forty locations across Metro Manila. Across the Philippines, Victory has more than ninety churches that meet in various cities and districts.

Victory is a founding member of Every Nation. Because we desire to honor God in every area of life, we follow Jesus, fish for men, and fellowship with other believers. We make disciples by engaging culture and community, establishing biblical foundations, equipping believers to minister, and empowering disciples to make disciples. As we advance God’s kingdom in the Philippines, we hope to see a nation transformed by the power of the gospel and the love of Jesus.

Let us not give up praying and believing for God’s promises to unfold in our nation. May we continue to honor God by helping others know Him.
